's office in nevada which was actually across the state line. it took lake tahoe police reportedly more than a day and a half to notify nevada. we called them this morning and we are waiting to hear what they have to say about it. meantime, alyssa burns has not been seen since shortly before midnight according to friends who were with her. she was in town for a three day music festival which attracts thousands. she disappeared around 11:30 and told her friends she was taking a shuttle back to the resort. she was spotted by guests in the lobby around midnight. she worked as a hostess here in petaluma and was studying to be a paramedic firefighter at the campus. again she is described as 5- foot 3, long hair died black and a fair complexion. we'll see where all of this stands right now with the investigation. live in petaluma, ktvu channel 2 morning news. >>> a court arrangement is set for today accused of hitting and killing 2 innocent people in new year's morning. ktvu channel 2 morning news has obtained this armature video from south vanness on 21st street. david morales caused the deadly

a few light snowshowers up towards the sierra nevada. most of those look like they are long gone. one line of thunderstorms very severe through oklahoma city. tornado warnings out here on the back side of that, freezing rain and snow. that's the forecast for oklahoma city. all in one lane. severe weather, then turning snow by tonight. if you are heading to new orleans, that system move -- moving over oklahoma is on its way there. if you have a flight, maybe a red eye, it could get bumpy there, especially if you are coming in around 2:00, 3:00 in the morning. by about 9:00, 10:00 in the morning, most of that will be gone. there will be a severe line going in there tomorrow. 30s, 40s, near 50 degrees. 49 half moon bay. the cloud cover though is really saving us from being much, much colder. a lot of high clouds. chilly start. upper 50s, low 60s on the temps. everyone again, not much of a difference. only about a 6-degree spread between the coolest high temperatures. gilroy, 62, the warmest, everyone else is close. upper 50s or low 60s. tomorrow we should clear out the cloud cover. sunny

and parts of the west coast and southern nevada and parts of the west coast, there is a huge difference in temperatures. santa rosa, a lot of 20s even novato, fairfield, and the airport the only thing holding up is a little bit of a breeze. this flow is and coming right out of the north, northeast and that gives you a sign by the coast it will not be too bad. i don't care how much sun we get, it doesn't feel that warm so very cold in the morning with that east breeze which helps oakland, emoryville, those areas get a benefit from that breeze but most locations are in the lower 50s. discuss is 57, although it is 30 degrees right now. a little warmer into thursday and with your weekend in view, we will have to make a return to the valley and it will warm up coast and bay. >>> keeping an eye on the del stock, del could go private circulating and del is talking with private equity firms about a potential buy out. del has lost 40% since last year's peak and the cost of going private makes sense. it will allow del to restructure without criticism from share holders. >>> it grew by 10% and chi

-hitting senators made hur to put on the their announcement today ahead of the president's announcement in nevada tomorrow to show that there's bipartisan supports, to make sure that they didn't look as if they were following the president, which wouldn't be good for republicans in the group. while there is momentum among the elite in washington, we're not sure how this will play outside yet, and we saw back in 2007 you had ted kennedy aligned with the senate on the democratic side. you had john mccain on the republican side. the maverick came together and mccain got crushed on this issue. it was very damaging to him both in his presidential and also in his senate re-elect, so i think it's what's important to watch here as the immigration stuff unrolls this week. it's how are grassroots particularly conservatives reacting to these proposals. >> and the next big step coming up we've got a vote in the senate foreign relations committee tomorrow on john kerry. that's going to be automatic. he is going to be breezed through and voted for and hillary clinton leaves friday. he will be coming in next mo
